Since the age of seven, Anna has had an interest in
photography which led to three years of evening classes in which she
achieved City & Guilds certificates in Portraiture and in Monochrome
Processing & Printing. Her first job in photography started at the age
of fifteen, where she was involved in family and degree portraiture as well
as wedding photography. In 1993 she became a wedding operator.
At age 20, Anna gained an A-level (grade A) in Photography and a City &
Guilds Professional Photography certificate and the distinction of LRPS from
the Royal Photographic Society. She also became a member of the Society of
Wedding & Portrait Photographers where she achieved her licentiate.
More recently, she has achieved a distinction in the HNC in Photography as well as being awarded the National Radio Group Prize for
achievement on the course. She has also been awarded the distinction of ARPS
with the Royal Photographic Society, and in June 2001
she received her MA from the Open University.
