Your
Wedding Day
Your photographer will make arrangements with you to
either attend the brides house beforehand which is usually arranged to
be about an hour before the ceremony, but will obviously depend upon
distance to the venue. If you decide you don't want this we can instead
attend the venue and get some nice portraits of guests and groom and
best man before the ceremony. We try
to capture all the important events that occur, we will take portraits of the bridesmaids, bride and the bride’s father as they arrive.
Extra photographs will be taken in the venue as the actual ceremony takes
place - if it
is permitted by the vicar or registrar - and always with a minimum of
intrusion. After the service, the photographer will take all the usual
formal groups, or informal shots if required, artistic shots of the bride and groom and any special requests as discussed.
Some examples of photographs
taken can include:
-
Bride and her family at mums
house before the wedding;
-
Guests and family arriving at
the wedding venue;
-
During the service, signing of
the register, walking down the aisle;
-
Bridal and family groups;
-
Bride and Groom with their
friends;
-
Different poses of the
bride and groom together;
-
Any special requests from the
couple or their parents;
-
The room laid out for the
reception;
-
and, a mock cutting of the cake.
These requirements can be discussed
in detail both at the time of booking the wedding photography and also a
month before when we can see you, and if that's not possible we can simply
have a chat over the phone. If there are certain photographs you want to
ensure you get, we suggest you write them down and email them or give us a
list on the day.
